Official - vote yellow get Brown

This has to have been the most extraordinary week in modern British political history.

Who on earth would have predicted this?

And what incredible insight we are now getting into the mindset of both Labour and Lib Dem parties.

If I heard one more time from the mouth of Gordon Brown the words “I agree with Nick” I think I would be reaching for the bottle.

We know you do Gordon - it will be the only way you can cling to power.

And do not think for one minute where the heart of the Lib Dems lies.
- anti nuclear
- Smash and grab taxation policies
- weak on crime
- and an amnesty for illegal immigrants

If push came to shove you can guarantee that the Libs will jump into bed with Labour and that is what Gordon is now praying for.

As for the Lib Dems - well if you are a tactically voting Conservative my message is clear: Vote Yellow Get Brown.

And that message is already resonating in Hornsey & Wood Green. Across the constituency we saw a swing to the Conservatives this weekend as voters realised that backing the Lib Dems (who of course are claiming are the only party to stop Labour) will deliver just that - five more years of Gordon.
