Relaunch for Labour!
The following is an email sent by the Labour candidate for Hornsey & Wood Green.
It would appear that she is determined to campaign and is now ‘relaunching’ and ‘reinvigorating’ herself.
It is somewhat ironic though that she is campaigning against the proposed cut to the A&E at the Whittington Hospital given that it is the Labour Government presiding over this.
“Appeal from Karen Jennings
Dear member,
I am writing to seek your help and support for the coming General Election Campaign. I have appointed David Heath (Chair of Highgate Ward) to serve as my Agent and we have set to work to reinvigorate my campaign, which I am now able to devote much more time to. I am convinced that the seat is winnable if we deliver a strong, clear message. This election is critically different from 2005 in that we must fight harder than ever before to ensure there is no prospect of a change in government, therefore a vote for the LibDems in H&WG could have national consequences. My background as a national figure in the health service positions me strongly against Lynne Featherstone, who remains rooted in local politics.
We need to deliver these and other strong messages to the voters effectively from now on.”
